OBSERVATIONS 25 DCMR CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
2. - There is no one on duty during the time of inspection, that has a Certified Food Protection Manager ID Card issued by the Department. Person in charge has obtained CFPM certification from NRSFP,but has not yet submitted for a DC Health Certification  203.3 A person in charge who is a certified food protection manager as required in Section 203.1 shall obtain a District-issued Food Protection Manager Identification Card (ID Card), issued by the Department, and shall renew the District-issued ID Card every three (3) years. P  
3. - The establishment did not provide proof of an employee health policy for the prevention of foodborne illness. I provided the establishment with a copy of the Food Code's conditional employee and food employee interview, reporting agreement, and medical referral forms.  300.1 The licensee shall require food employees and conditional employees to report to the person in charge, in accordance with this Section, information about their health and activities as they relate to diseases that are transmissible through food.  
10. - There are no paper towels at the handwashing sink in the dishwashing area or in the bathroom.  3002.1 Each handwashing sink or group of adjacent sinks shall be provided with: (a) Individual, disposable towels; Pf (b) A continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; Pf (c) A heated-air hand drying device that is provided in addition to other hand-drying devices at sinks used for food preparation or warewashing areas; Pf or (d) A hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. 10. - There is no soap at the handwashing sink in the restrooms  3001.1 Each handwashing sink or group of two (2) adjacent sinks shall be provided with a supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder, or bar soap. Pf  
10. - There is no hot water (at least 100 degrees Fahrenheit) at the handwashing sink in left restroom.  2402.1 A handwashing sink shall be equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least thirty-eight degrees Celsius (38 degrees C) (one hundred degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees F)) through a mixing valve or combination faucet. 10. - There is no handwashing signage at the handwashing sink in left restroom and dishwashing area.  3004.1 A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands shall be provided at all handwashing sinks used by food employees and shall be clearly visibly to food employees.  
33. - The display freezer behind the counter had an ambient air temperature of 48°F. Ice cream and popsicles in the unit were not frozen.  1600.1 Equipment for cooling and heating food, and holding cold and hot food, shall be sufficient in number and capacity to provide food temperatures as specified in chapters 6 through 13. 48. - There are no chemical test strips available to measure the concentration of the sanitizing solution.  1608.1 A test kit or other device that accurately measures the concentration in micrograms per liter (mg/L) of sanitizing solutions shall be provided. Pf
